I started using Lorem Ipsum in high school because I saw other early internet designers doing it and placeholder text made sense. I never questioned it. But somewhere along the way I thought part of the mystique came from some centuries-old typesetter tradition. And to be fair, it seems most of us thought that. This investigation sets the record straight, and remarkably, actually finds the true origin story of Lorem Ipsum. Fantastic.
